On August 24, 2024, MLD Entertainment and TV5 announced that they will form a Filipino boy group that will debut in South Korea under MLD Entertainment and KAMP Korea through the idol survival show, Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers. 　　On January 10, 2025, TV5 announced that the upcoming show will premiere on February 8 at 7:15 PM (PHT).On the same day, 2NE1 member Sanadra Park was revealed as the host of the show through TV Patrol (a TV news program) and EXO member Chen, former MOMOLAND member Hyebin, former TREASURE member Bang Ye Dam, AB6IX member Park Woo Jin, HORI7ON member Vinci, choreographer Bae Wan Hee and producer Bullseye as mentors.
